The Ripple Effect

Using Live Webinars & Videos to Educate & Inspire Clients

Live webinars and recorded videos are excellent ways to connect with clients and prospects all over the world to offer them real value. They are also interactive, allowing you to engage with your audience on a deeper level.

When done correctly, webinars and videos can help you build and solidify relationships with clients and inspire them to do business with you.

As a professional in your field, you can use live webinars to educate and inspire your customers.

Let’s go over some tips on how to make your webinars successful.

1. Lay Down the Foundation.

Planning is key when it comes to webinars and videos. First, you need to know what you want to achieve and who your target audience is. This will help you determine the format, length, and style of your presentation.

It’s also essential to have a clear call to action. What do you want people to do after they watch your webinar?

Make sure your goals are realistic and that you have the resources to achieve them.

When preparing your presentation, ask yourself:

• How can I be the deliverer of client relief or provide clients peace of mind?

• What is my brand strategy?

• What helpful information can I share with prospects?

• What is my offering and call to action?

2. Create Engaging Content & Rehearse.

Your content needs to be engaging, informative, and inspiring.  Content should offer real “how-to” value to your audience and help them solve a problem. Have you ever watched videos or webinars where the content is lofty and theoretical? Your audience wants and is looking for real substance. Give it to them.

To make your content engaging, use stories, analogies, and examples. Use images, infographics, and videos to break up the text and keep people’s attention.

Start by rehearsing your presentation several times. This will help you feel more confident, your message will come out smoother, and reduce the chances of making mistakes. Even if you do flub up, that’s ok, keep going!

3. Deliver a Great Presentation.

Now that you have engaging content, it’s time to deliver a great presentation.  When you’re ready to go live, check your internet connection and test all your equipment beforehand.

Remember, BE YOURSELF BUT DON’T GO OVERBOARD! If you have a natural sense of humor, let it out, but don’t try to make the webinar a comedy show. Be genuine and passionate about what you’re talking about, and your audience will respond positively.

Introduce yourself and your topic, then dive right into the content. Engage with your audience throughout the presentation by asking questions and encouraging participation.

And finally, end with very clear messages stating;

• What you would like. For example, “We would like to be your Family’s Dentist…” (any questions?)

• State what you would like your audience to do in the next 5 minutes … aka: your call to action.

4. Using Webinars as Part of Your Brand Strategy.

Webinars and videos are powerful marketing tools that you can use to educate and motivate your customers. When done correctly, they will help you with lead generation and conversions. They are also great for building relationships with clients and establishing your brand.

You can also implement them into your social media marketing strategy by using social media platforms to promote and share your webinars.

By sharing helpful information, you can pivot yourself as a deliverer of client relief in your industry and inspire people to do business with you.

5. Send Out Client Surveys.

Asking for feedback will demonstrate that you care about your client’s experience and want to improve. Send out digital surveys or give them a call to get their thoughts on your services. And, be cognizant of your client’s time and reward them for it.  We all receive requests to complete surveys and help you stand out from your competitors – offer something for their time … a discount, free consultation, or a gift card.

Keep your surveys short, but be consistent over time. We like only two (2) questions, but no more than three (3) questions, that’s it. Then do it again next webinar/video or next month or quarter.

When you’re constantly working to improve, you’ll instill confidence in your repeat clients that their opinions matter and that you’re always working to provide the best possible service.

That’s a Wrap!

Webinars and videos connect you with your target audience and provide an opportunity to offer them real value. Use them as part of your brand strategy to educate and inspire customers.

By following these tips, you can deliver an excellent presentation that will help you achieve your goals.
